Always with one eye on the next interesting trend, Ingur’s inner entrepreneur was the first to recognize that there was a market for high quality, limited edition accessories in Singapore. Ingur provided the catalyst for the formation of the company, bringing his experience and love of quality to the brand. Born and raised in Holland, his ambitions have moved from wanting to be a fireman when he was young, to being an independent entrepreneur and creating something that can be both glamorous and useful. Now living in Singapore, he enjoys the tropical climate and is always ready to go somewhere new, try something different or have a new experience. One day he will complete his world travels, but for now Ingur finds inspiration in everyday life. He believes that handbags are a perfect way for a woman to express herself with something that is functional and elegant, practical and chic. The designers Ingur most admires are those who work with passion, dedication and commitment. Their work, he feels, is best appreciated relaxing in the lush green surroundings of Singapore over a good coffee.
She – Sarah Lam aka Classy
Sarah is the unassuming and quieter member of He&2Shes, who embodies chic elegance and is devoted to intricate and beautiful design. As a child, Sarah had a love for music and drawing, and states in her own words, “I love doodling and was very active with school choir, school band, and after school guitar jams with my then guitar-freak schoolmates. Art and music were my first loves. They invigorate me, they give me life and passion....” Since then, Sarah has nurtured artistic ambitions. Besides creating, Sarah’s natural ability to establish rapport with people from diverse backgrounds enables her to get behind the scenes, working closely with the production team to bring He&2Shes’ dream into reality. Beaches, waterfronts, gardens and parks are places where she indulges herself with uninhibited and inspirational design. Quietly sitting by the waters, captured by the tranquility and beauty of nature, humming and strumming to her guitar, Sarah finds joy in just being an ordinary girl, blessed with good friends and loved ones who believe in her. Passion and love are the two things Sarah holds dear, and they influence on how she feels, perceives, designs and creates. As she says “What we create reflects who we are… and what we create comes truly and surely from within.”
She – Cherine Haynes aka Chic
Cherine finds inspiration for her creativity in little corners of everyday life and retro fashion, bringing passion to the team and illuminating diverse perspectives. With a bright imagination and a driven spirit that draw upon both her European finesse and her Caribbean flair, Cherine injects a little playfulness into the collections. She relishes creativity, uniqueness and culture. Her love of quality and originality are interpreted in her approach to design. She prizes time spent writing, in conversation with friends, reading and quality moments spent with her son, which always make her smile. Cherine considers music, her family, travel and spirituality to be the things in life that she couldn’t live without. Given any super-power in the world, she would choose the ability to give help to anyone who needed it.
